First who

First who

We are looking for a DevOps & Infrastructure Specialist who combines deep operational experience with the mindset of a mentor and bridge-builder. You are not just managing infrastructure—you are elevating the entire Operations team.

Who You Are:

**The Educator & Mentor: **You enjoy coaching, upskilling, and training Ops team members on modern automation, scripting, and IaC practices. You lead by example and communicate complex concepts clearly.

The Modernizer: You respect heritage systems (Windows/IIS) while being driven to modernize them (OpenShift/Kubernetes). You excel at guiding teams through digital transformation without disrupting day-to-day operations.

**An Exceptional Communicator: **You collaborate seamlessly in hybrid and remote team environments. You speak fluent English; Portuguese and/or French are strong pluses.

**Adaptable & Pragmatic: **You understand how tools fit into broader CI/CD methodologies and can translate existing infrastructure patterns into containerized realities.

Then what

Then what

What You Will Do:

**Coach & Upskill: **Train and guide Ops engineers on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting best practices, and modern DevOps methodologies.

**Pipeline Ownership: **Own, maintain, and streamline release management and CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Migration & Modernization: Maintain existing Windows VM / IIS infrastructure while driving the migration strategy toward OpenShift containerization.

**App Level Understanding: **Read and understand legacy application logic (C#) to build optimal deployment pipelines and runtime environments.

Key Requirements

Operating Systems & Web Servers: Solid, hands-on Windows Server & IIS administration background (Must-Have; pure Linux profiles will not fit this specific setup).

**Scripting & Automation: **Strong proficiency in Python and PowerShell.

Containerization: Practical experience with OpenShift (managing containers, pods, deployment configurations, and images).

CI/CD & Release Tools: Proven experience with XL Deploy and XL Release (preferred).
