Extia Italy is looking for Java Developers that can help our clients and their projects grow. Main responsibilities:

• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java programming language according to project requirements and coding standards.
• Testing: Developing and executing unit tests and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing bugs, performance issues, and other technical problems in the codebase.
• Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Version Control: Using version control systems such as Git to manage and track changes to the codebase effectively.
• Documentation: Documenting code, APIs, and technical designs for reference and future maintenance.
• Performance Optimization: Optimizing the performance of Java applications through code refactoring, profiling, and tuning.

Profile

• Experience with Java 8+, Spring, Hibernate, cloud solutions and microservices architecture;
• Source code management: GIT;
• Continuous Integration & Repo: Jenkins, Maven;
• Agile Project Management: JIRA;
• IDE: IntelliJ or Eclipse;
• Experience with Angular or other JS frameworks would be a very big plus.
