We are seeking an experienced Linux Systems Engineer to own, automate, and optimize our critical infrastructure. In this role, you will manage Linux servers across standalone and clustered environments, oversee storage systems and virtualization platforms, and build seamless automation workflows. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement secure, high-performing solutions that support our core business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Operations: Deploy, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Linux servers in high-availability standalone and clustered environments.
Storage & Virtualization: Manage and troubleshoot VMware environments, storage servers, and SAN switches to maintain peak system health.
Infrastructure as Code: Ensure all infrastructure additions, modifications, and updates are fully managed and deployed through automated tooling.
Security & Compliance: Enforce rigorous security policies, compliance standards, and patching protocols across all Linux systems.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with security, networking, and application teams to translate business requirements into efficient, secure, and fully connected infrastructure.
Performance & Reliability: Continuously monitor and fine-tune systems to ensure maximum uptime, optimal performance, and robust disaster readiness.

Technical & Professional Qualifications

Technical Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux systems administration in production environments.
Proven experience managing Linux clustering (e.g., Pacemaker, Corosync, or high-availability setups).
Strong background in Infrastructure Automation / Config Management (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform).
Solid experience with VMware virtualization (vSphere/ESXi).
Experience managing Storage Servers and SAN switches (FC/iSCSI, zoning, volume management).
Deep understanding of core networking topologies and infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, routing).
