What you’ll do

  • Database Queries: Execute queries in DB2 (mainframe systems Equinoxe and MySYS) to fulfill dataset requests
  • Request Management: Handle user requests
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving service quality and efficiency
  • Backlog Monitoring: Assist in tracking and closing pending requests to ensure timely delivery
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to optimize service delivery and share knowledge
  • Knowledge Management: Document and share completed research to support team learning and efficiency

What we’re looking for

  • Functional Skills: Understand user needs and interpret requests accurately
  • Technical Skills: Experience querying databases (DB2, SQL) and using tools like DBeaver
  • Relational Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to support users effectively
  • Familiarity with mainframe query execution processes
  • Ability to read and understand conceptual data models (MCD)
  • Experience with task tracking tools such as JIRA
